Greetings for everyone!
At first, I am very sorry for using english on a russian forum, but I'm rom Hungary, and I don't know russian.
So, my younger brother found an old, half-wrecked IS-3 model at one of our friends, and he asked them to give it to him, for it is "his favourite tank". They gifted it to him, and then, the story began. At home, my father said, that he had a same toy-tank when he was a child, and that it was a soviet-made, wire controlled one. We carefully disassembled it, and found that most of the gear wheels are still inside, but no motors, and of course, no controller, but the tank itself is in a very good condition. We decided to rebuild it to the original condition as much as possible - of course, including the wire control system also.
After a long searching, we found out, that it was produced by a company named "Oгонек". I think it was quite common in Russia, but here, in Hungary, it wasn't available, my father got his tank from Moscow, too. Because of this, I didn't found too much information.
Here are two pictures, our tank is the same model, but I can't take any photos, for it is in a cleaner bath at the moment, it was terribly painted by some barbarous person...
So, we would like to ask for some help... If any of you has a similar model (eg. the same Oгонек product, but another tank type), or only some good picture of it, t could help us a lot. We need as much detailed pictures as possible from the inside of the tank, the motors, the gears, the driving system, and, in addition, of the controller. Also, it would be wonderful to have a complete, original assembling instructions, but it would be a real wonder
If any of you could help with these, we would be very happy and grateful, and of course, this way you could help a now rare but precious toy to start a new life....
With many thanks
